Here’s a song that’s about the destruction of humanity that has created upon itself. It talks about how we ended ourselves but the song doesn’t make it sound so bad.

Why I Chose This Song: It’s just another amazing song coming from the second album of 30 Seconds to Mars. I love this song because I think it’s saying that humanity has accepted that his time is over. We had our chance to live our lives but we didn’t do what was necessary to create the world that God wanted us to have. The line where it goes “children of a lesser god”, I think, talks about how we weren’t able to meet what was expected of us by the true God so because of all the mistakes we made we don’t deserve to be called His children.

Why I Chose This Song: I just think that this is an amazing song. I love how it speaks about if you don’t have love, then get it. If you do, though, give it to others. For me, it’s an awesome way to share the love we have to other people. :)

Why I Chose This Song: Well, I read some stuff on the internet about this song and Bo, the singer of needtobreath, said that this song was about finding inspiration. He said that he hasn’t seen it in a while and the line “in your ocean I’m ankle deep” is like the the water’s rising quick and the tide’s coming in and he feels like he’s gonna drown in search of that thing he’s looking for. It’s a wonderful song because I believe that that ‘something beautiful’ that we’re looking for is God.
